Introducing the New John Deere StarFire 7000 Receiver
Mar. 10 2022
New Products
Recently, John Deere introduced the next generation of Precision Ag Technology with their new StarFire™ 7000 Receiver. Here's what you need to know:
Sub-Inch Accuracy with No Added Technology
- Receiver RTK level accuracy on any StarFire 7000 Receiver with a simple SF-RTK annual license while eliminating the need for additional hardware and activations.
- SF-RTK uses data from four Global Network Satellite Systems (GNSS) to maintain year-to-year repeatability. This is two systems more than past generation StarFire™ Receivers.
Faster Pull-in-Time and Reduced Signal Loss
- Less than a 10-minute pull-in-time wait
- Reduced signal loss when operating near trees or other obstructions. This is due to the StarFire 7000 Receiver pulling in the signals from four satellite constellations.
5-Year Repeatability
- Five years of year-to-year repeatability at launch with longer repeatability in the future and +/- 1 inch accuracy.
- 17% greater accuracy to make for highly precise guidance lines and product placements, compared to the SF3 signal that SF-RTK replaces
- 85% greater repeatability (compared to a StarFire™ 6000 Receiver with SF3)
- Provides for the best automation results, especially with AutoTrac™ Turn Automation and AutoPath™
Serviceability
- Over 20 serviceable parts so you can keep your StarFire 7000 Receiver running should any part need to be serviced.
- Provides customers with lower cost to replace parts and easy parts replacement
