John Deere is making it easier than ever to connect machines and stay connected by offering JDLink™ Connectivity for FREE as of July 2021. The new connectivity service includes machine and agronomic data sharing at NO additional cost. No more JDLink subscriptions or renewals. No monthly or annual service fees. Turn on for as long as you choose.

Starting July 14, after logging into Operations Center, users will be prompted and asked if they want to activate the service. Within a few clicks, JDLink connectivity service will be enabled to provide simple, seamless, continuous wireless service and make it possible for customers to monitor their machines and their farm anytime from anywhere.

Anyone with existing subscriptions will remain on until expiration, or you can choose to convert to the new connectivity service at no charge.

Required 4G Upgrade

JDLink terminals use cellular connections that require the same cell towers that our phones use. Most cellular providers in the United States will stop 3G service after December 31, 2021. AT&T announced it's phasing out our 3G network in February 20222. T-Mobile recently announced it would extend services to March 31 of next year, but not beyond. And Verizon plans to pull the plug in December 2022. Now is the time to upgrade to 4G to keep your machines connected. Without 4G connectivity, you will lose access to vital tools to drive productivity within your operation.
