Between the chilly weather and latest snowstorm, it’s not too early to start thinking about a new lawn mower for the spring. Hopefully, spring will arrive early this year, and then it will be back to mowing the grass the next several months. We have just what large property owners need to make mowing this year a bit easier and more enjoyable.

The X700 Signature Series has seven different models to choose from, with different features like four-wheel drive and four-wheel steer, and three diesel engine models. No matter what model fits you best, they all come backed by a 4 Year/700 Hour warranty. Some more good news: Deere updated these models for 2019 with even more great features and finishes. The X700 Series updates improve style, performance, and serviceability. So let’s check out what’s new.

Style

  • New alloy aluminum wheels: These new wheels give a fresh, upscale styling that matches the superior performance and quality of these mowers. Standard on all X700 Series Tractors.
  • New seat with embroidered logo: John Deere brand embroidery has been added to the standard equipment 21-in. two-piece adjustable seat to make it look as good as it feels. You still have the option of an upgraded air-suspension seat to improve your riding experience. 

Performance and Serviceability Updates for 54-inch and 60-inch High-Capacity Mower Decks

New optional hydraulic MulchControl™ attachment: This attachment will give you the control from the driver’s seat to turn on/off mulch control. With the touch of a button, you can open/close the baffle on the mower deck to switch between side-discharge and mulch mode.   • New drive-over ramps on 54-in. and 60-in High-Capacity decks: The ramp/spindle cover assemblies on the decks can be removed without tools for easy greasing and cleaning. The decks also allow for easier installation and removal of a Power Flow™ blower attachment if you are looking to collect and bag your lawn clippings. 
  • Updated Power Flow blowers: In addition to being easier to install, Power Flow blowers have been updated for model year 2019 and are compatible with the updated drive-over ramps.
  • New drive-belt routing to provide more constant belt tension
