As part of the Holland and Sons’ technology department, I would like to congratulate our farmers on what has hopefully been a successful farming year for you! Growing up on a farm, my father and I always enjoyed the fall season as it brought the fruitful completion of all the hard work and efforts we put in throughout the year. With the combination of John Deere resources and Holland and Sons, we have some great tools to assist customers with the collection, management and analysis of their fall results to help them prepare for an even better year.
Some customers are still using, or have used, John Deere APEX desktop software for managing their field data. Today, more and more customers are beginning to utilize John Deere Operations Center as their main source for collecting, storing and analyzing field results and also collaborating with trusted partners. Information easily flows to and from your machines in the field from the web based storage site. Once in the site, your information is available for you to view from various electronic applications, making your information available in simple or more specific reports. There are many options available to help you easily compare your fields, varieties, or cropping practices between different years, fields, and other parameters. Another huge benefit customers enjoy with John Deere Operations Center is that years and years of your farm information is securely stored, and only you determine when and what information you want to share with your trusted advisors. These trusted advisors might include your fertilizer, seed, or field analysis staff. The fact still remains that you are the main analyzer of your farm operation, and John Deere Operations Center plus Holland and Sons is the best choice to help you successfully and easily accomplish this task.
John Deere Operations Center is constantly adding features that make it an easy, safe storage location with a variety of tools to help you. John Deere recognizes that farmers and their trusted partners may need additional programs and products to help with farm data management. Consequently, there are many major companies offering software applications which directly connect to John Deere Operations Center. These software applications include those regularly used for general farm management and also more specific applications that fit certain needs. John Deere Operations Center enables you to use connective software tools to collaborate with your preferred partners. It is evident that other data analysis programs are centered on the use of John Deere Operations Center and your data.
